ENCHANTED MONUMENTS

Creator of the innovative concept "Enchanted Monuments"(2005), Veronica Antonelli is the soprano that reveals the soul of sites that could be natural monuments (chasm, canyons, caves, forests...), historical (castle, chapel, church, cloister, basilica, crypt, museum...) and industrial monuments (mine, textile, aluminum, workshop, printing...), also implements water while meet rays in Polynesia (1999), or with her concept "Enchanted Seine"(2015) and also air from a hot air balloon with "Enchanted Hot-air-balloon"(2013)...

Veronica Antonelli sings a capella French songs, court airs (16e/17s), baroque airs, sacred songs, opera airs, operettas, international melodies in different languages.

Her exceptional voice is naturally projected, without microphone, without musical accompaniment.

She is a performer. Her body is her instrument.

She listens to the place and searches for its flaw during « acoustic scouting ».

The performer has the particularity of visualizing the path of sound. It is this weakness that she perceives in the monument that she will feed vocally in order to make it sing, vibrate and sound like touching a Tibetan bowl.

An exacerbated sensoriality allows Veronica Antonelli to feel the place.

She marries her voice and physical sensations to the monument and its acoustics giving it a sound identity

Each acoustic is engraved in her own body.

She explains that we are all vibrant beings, and when she sings and vibrates with her environment, a dialogue is established between her and the immense space of the monument, this invisible part that her voice brings to life:

it is really the meeting of two instruments when she enchants a place: the acoustics of the site which in a way is its body and her human voice embodied like a tuning fork

She puts her voice at the service of heritage, at her own pace, following the echo of the site. Indeed, thanks to the vibration of her crytal voice, the space of each site becomes perceptible to the public.

Veronica Antonelli is a means between the monument and the public which becomes aware of its unique acoustics

Earth, to Veronica Antonelli, is a huge playground she explores and allows the public to experience and explore our heritage, our roots, our History, in a different way.

This soprano offers accessible sung and guided tours. She is well aware that the public can live it without really understanding what they discover thanks to her research. Often, the public is moved or cries. What they will remember is having traveled "out of time" and "out of space" thanks to the magic voice of the interpreter when in reality all the work of the artist who performs counts, but the essential it is the living monument that transmitted its vibration to them.

Following the attacks in Paris, she wrote an article about the public space that she explores and poetizes wearing the large wings that symbolize freedom in Montmartre by day with "Montmartre Enchanted" and by night with "Montmartre enchanted by night" by giving it a welcoming approach thanks to its original sung and commented tours of Montmartre (since 2014)

She designed a original concept at the border between the transmission of culture and in particular lyrical art to the greatest number, the enhancement of the heritage to which the a capella singer gives a unique sound identity and VIP cultural tourism.

Créateur du concept innovant "Monuments enchantés"(2005), Veronica Antonelli est la soprano qui révèle l'âme de lieux qui sont des monuments naturels (gouffre, canyons, grottes, forêts...), historiques (château, chapelle, église, cloître, basilique, crypte, musée...) et industriels (mine, textile , aluminium, atelier, imprimerie...). Elle met également en œuvre l'eau que ce soit interaction voix humaine et des raies en Polynésie (1999), ou avec son concept "Gabarre enchantée" (2013), "Garonne Enchantée" (2014), "Seine enchantée"(2015) et aussi en plein ciel en chantant depuis une montgolfière avec "Montgolfière enchantée"(2013)...

Veronica Antonelli est soliste et interprète a capella un vaste répertoire qui s'étend de la chanson française, des airs de cour (16e/17s), des airs baroques, des chants sacrés, des airs d'opéra, des opérettes, aux mélodies internationales dans différentes langues.

Sa voix exceptionnelle est naturellement projetée, sans micro, sans accompagnement musical, ce que son expertise de 13 années à enchanter les monuments lui permet d'exceller.

Elle performe et son corps est son seul instrument.

Dans une première étape, elle écoute le lieu et cherche sa faille pendant, ce qu'elle intitule des "repérages acoustiques" afin de trouver la note de résonnance, la note qui permettra à tout le site de vibrer.

Cette artiste lyrique extraordinaire a la particularité de visualiser le parcours du son et une fois qu'elle a identifié la faiblesse sonore qu'elle perçoit dans le monument, c'est ce point précis qu'elle va nourrir vocalement afin de le faire chanter, vibrer et sonner, comme se met à vibrer au toucher un bol tibétain.

La sensorialité exacerbée de cette artiste hors norme est un atout qui lui permet de ressentir le lieu.

Elle épouse de sa voix alimentée de sensations physiques l'acoustique du monument et lui renvoie sublimées en mélodies et donne une identité sonore unique au site.

Chaque acoustique demeure gravée dans son corps.

Veronica Antonelli explique que nous sommes tous des êtres vibrants, et lorsqu'elle chante et vibre avec son environnement, un dialogue s'établit entre elle et l'espace immense du monument (architecture, matériaux), et c'est cette part invisible que sa voix fait vivre :

c'est vraiment la rencontre de deux instruments quand elle enchante un lieu : l'acoustique du site qui est en quelque sorte son corps et sa voix humaine incarnée comme un diapason.

La cantatrice met sa voix au service du patrimoine, à son rythme, en suivant l'écho du site. En effet, grâce à la vibration de sa voix de cristal, l'espace de chaque site devient perceptible au public.

Elle est un intermédiaire entre le monument et le public qui prend conscience de son acoustique unique.

La Terre, pour Veronica Antonelli, est un immense terrain de jeu qu'elle explore et permet au public de vivre et d'explorer notre patrimoine, nos racines, notre Histoire, autrement.

Cette soprano propose des visites chantées et guidées accessibles. Elle est bien consciente que le public peut les vivre sans analyser ni vraiment comprendre le sens à donner à ses précieuses recherches.

Souvent, le public est ému ou pleure. Ce dont ils se souviendront, c'est d'avoir voyagé "hors du temps" et "hors de l'espace" grâce à la voix magique de l'interprète alors qu'en réalité tout le travail de l'artiste qui performe sans filet compte, mais l'essentiel c'est le monument devenu vivant qui leur a transmis dans sa vibration.

Suite aux attentats de Paris, elle écrit un article sur l'espace public qu'elle explore et poétise portant les grandes ailes qui symbolisent la liberté à Montmartre le jour avec 'Montmartre enchantée' et la nuit avec "Montmartre enchantée by night" en lui donnant une approche accueillante grâce à ses visites originales chantées et commentées de Montmartre (depuis 2014) et par toute saison.
